CFE Solutions, Inc. (“CFE Solutions,” “business,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. We never sell customer information.

This Privacy Notice explains how CFE Solutions collects, uses, and discloses personal information for business purposes and how we safeguard your rights. We collect and receive personal information

We may receive personal data via:

  • When you exchange messages with us (in person, over the phone, or electronically), if such messages or sender address information contain Personal Information you chose to communicate or show to us.
  • When you interact with Business Activities such as events, online documents and interactive activities, exchanging your business card with us, discussing our services with one of our representatives, or interacting with our representatives or branded company accounts on social media, we may collect the information you enter or share, such as business contact information, including your title, and whether you have the interest and ability to influence a business decision.
  • When you open or click on one of our marketing emails.
  • When we validate or supplement your business contact information utilising third-party directories and services where you’ve made it public.
  • When you use our sites and fill out web forms.
  • When our Security function collects information when you visit our offices or use our networks and computers. Surveillance and visitor records may record your appearance, time, and location. While using our computers, your logins, interactions, and location may be logged.
  • When you explore our Sites, analytics information such as IP addresses, web browser settings, operating system information, date, time, duration of visits, and referring/exit pages are gathered. When you visit our Sites or use social media features like “share” or “like” buttons, third parties such as social media and advertising partners may obtain information about you or your device. Your Consent – In rare cases, it may be appropriate for us to acquire your explicit prior consent. In such a case, we will provide more precise information and a choice, which you may change without penalty or effect to your rights. Youth – We don’t knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children or minors, and our marketing and services are aimed at businesses, not kids. How we use private data

  • For Services, such as when you communicate with technical support or consultants for the Services or when we upgrade or develop new offerings based on your choices and feedback, including updating your information via support portals on the Sites.
  • For external HR reasons, such as talent recruitment and scouting, handling job applications, and interacting with our HR employees, including using a job application portal on our Sites.

  • For security purposes, such as protecting employees’ health and safety or the company’s property or legal rights, including ethical duties.
  • For site statistics and visitor tracking, such as determining users’ general location and demographics and the attractiveness of our advertising materials and communications. Passively acquired information is occasionally linked to visitor or customer information to analyse a visitor’s browsing journey or a customer’s interests in current or prospective items or services.
  • Business Activities, such as communicating with you about our webinars, events, downloadable information and assets, and service offers and understanding their popularity and interest.

We may retain your personal information for the duration of the valid business purpose for which it was originally obtained, or if the aforementioned Security objectives demand longer retention, such as when we need to retain enough information to honour an unsubscribe request.

Information disclosure

CFE Solutions transmits information for commercial purposes where the recipient demonstrates and agrees to proper security and privacy safeguards:

  • When providing information to affiliates and third parties under this provision, we shall take efforts to ensure the authorised transfer of personal information.
  • When we share information with CFE Solutions affiliates.
  • When we share personal information to third-party service providers who help us with Business Activities, the Sites, HR, Security, or Services, or to supplemental individuals who may join our workforce.
  • To comply with a subpoena or other legal process, to protect our rights, to investigate fraud, or to react to a regulatory request.
  • If CFE Solutions creates or acquires another entity or is acquired. You will be notified through email and/or a conspicuous notice on our website of any change in ownership or usage of your personal information, as well as any options you may have regarding your personal information.

When we partner with third-party ad managers. Our third-party partner may use cookies to collect information about your activity on our Sites and other sites to serve you targeted ads based on your browsing habits and interests. Security Commitment

CFE Solutions solely uses personal information for the purpose it was gathered, save for security reasons. We take reasonable steps to ensure that customer personal information is accurate, complete, current, and reliable for its intended use. CFE Solutions is not responsible for having up-to-date personal information on each customer or Sites user, nor for ensuring that customers or Sites users update their personal information with CFE Solutions.

CFE Solutions takes reasonable and acceptable measures to protect personal information from unauthorised use or disclosure. This includes maintaining proper administrative, physical, and technical safeguards. CFE Solutions is ISO 27001 certified for information security and ISO 9001 for quality of services.

Passive data collection and cookies

CFE Solutions and its partners may use cookies, clear GIFs, browser fingerprinting, and HTML 5 local storage to analyse trends, administer the Sites, track users’ movements across the page, and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may obtain individual and aggregated reports on these companies’ tech use. Browsers may offer options to remove tracking technologies. Clear GIFs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs) track a visitor’s trip on our Sites to assist us manage content by telling us what’s effective. Clear gifs are invisible on Web pages and the size of a period. We link clear gifs to personal information to understand how people use our sites.

Browser Fingerprinting generates identification for a website visitor’s browser based on the unique mix of settings it transmits.

Local Storage stores material and preferences in HTML5. Various browsers offer solutions to remove HTML5.

Border data transfers

Personal data is transferred, stored, and processed within our global family of companies and by third-party service providers in recognised jurisdictions. We use a legally appropriate transfer method, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, when doing so (ies).

The Law

We’ll tell you if we possess any of your personal information as a data controller and who we’ve shared it with if you ask. We are responsible for how these businesses handle your personal information. You can edit or delete your personal information by contacting us. You can object to future processing of your personal data at any time. You can get your personal data in electronic form. Your request will be met promptly. In any case, you can complain to your data protection authority about the processing of your personal data.

To fulfil your request, we may ask for personal information to verify your identity and right to access such information and to look for and supply you with the personal information we maintain.
